Detailed Description
Featuring a 6.5-inch copper-colored IMG woofer, 1-inch aluminum tweeter mated to a square 90-degree by 60-degree pivoting Tractrix Horn, as well as a treble contour switch, this affordable and dynamic in-wall speaker gives you plenty of bang for your buck. In fact, because the pivoting horn allows listeners to point the sound where they want it to go, the direct to reflected energy ratio is high in the listening area creating a large soundstage with well-defined imaging.

Available in a white finish, the R-3650-W can be paired with the Klipsch IK-650-W installation kit (sold separately).This revolutionary kit design incorporates a mud ring, breakaway wire tie and color-coded brackets for easy speaker size identification. It also includes perforated metal wings that easily fasten to the studs via screws, staples or nails. Painted white for easy marking and placement, these metal wings can be folded around the edge of the studs if necessary.

Detailed Description
Thanks to a new patent-pending gimbal mechanism, known as Controlled Dispersion Technology (CDT), both the high and low frequencies of the CDT-3650-C can be directed towards the listening area. Because the tweeter is independently adjustable from the woofer, this speaker offers even more precise localization.

The CDT-3650-C features a 1-inch aluminum tweeter mated to a swiveling 100-degree Tractrix Horn. This swiveling horn design dramatically increases efficiency by enabling the speaker to produce more output using less energy. Additionally, a horn-loaded tweeter works well in instances where you want to point the sound to a specific location because it has more controlled directivity than a conventional dome tweeter.

The speaker's 6.5-inch copper-colored IMG woofer also has great positioning capabilities. It can rotate a full 360 degrees and then shift 15 degrees in any direction. This flexibility combined with the swiveling tweeter puts you in complete control of where the sound will go.

Because of its other professional grade features, such as a premium network and treble contour switch, the CDT-3650-C steers clear of the design shortcuts and sonic compromises that plague competing designs.

Exclusive Tractrix Horns have always been the key component of this critically acclaimed series. In the RC-52, this technology has been refined to include improved throat geometry for a more genuine, lifelike sound. Behind the horn lies a 1-inch titanium tweeter with a powerful neodymium magnet motor structure to provide a unique combination of precision, clarity and effortless dynamics.

The RC-52 employs dual 5.25-inch woofers for a solid bass foundation. These Cerametallic woofers with inverted copper dust caps exhibit a very high stiffness-to-mass ratio and superb damping characteristics.

Klipsch Tapered Array technology operates both woofers at the lowest frequencies - maintaining the high output capability necessary for good center channel performance - but only one operates all the way through the midrange to where the tweeter takes over. This eliminates acoustic interference between the woofer outputs, a flaw in conventional speaker designs that can severely impair sound quality at the sides of the listening area.

The RC-52's rigid cabinet offers improved internal cross-bracing to minimize panel vibrations that can color sound. Twin front-firing ports eliminate turbulence noise, while increased baffle ribbing around the horn mouth dramatically improves acoustics across the sonic range. For signal purity and perfect driver integration, the crossover on the RC-52 features the finest components and Klipsch custom internal wiring.

Available in a black woodgrain vinyl finish, the fully video-shielded RC-52 comes with a low-diffraction, magnetically attached grille to further accentuate the elegance of this speaker.
